Hi everyone! This is my steed, Ms. Merci "Rolls" Kilo. When I bought her stock about 3 years ago, I knew that when I upgraded her components, I wanted them to be non flashy but if you took the time to really look at the details, you would appreciate the upgrades she got. The first thing that people notice is the subtle silver straight blade fork. This change in itself differentiates my Kilo from the thousands who have my bike.
Another example is her shoes. She is rocking custom 32h low flange Mack Hubs laced onto bright silver deep v's 2x front and 3x rear. A mouthful for sure, but trust me the workmanship Mack did all the way in Poland for 6 months was well worth the wait.
I could go on and on but I'd rather talk about the 4 stickers on my bike that are meaningful to me. The panda sticker comes from Yolkshop.com which I got like 8 years ago at an Anime Expo. I have one 2 of those stickers and I never thought I would use it. This sticker reminds me to always just have fun and be lighthearted. Plus it's pretty cute haha!
Citygrounds is a bike shop where I bought my bottom bracket for my crankset a very long time ago. They gave me a sticker because it was my first time buying from them. The generosity and knowledge those guys have is great. This sticker reminds me of the technicality there is behind bikes. It reminds me to always never stop learning because there is always something to learn. Also to always pass the knowledge that I do learn because hey, we all had to start somewhere.
The Pedal Consumption sticker was given to me from my good friend who now lives in SD. Every time I look at that PC sticker, I just laugh at how many times we got lost or were in OH SHIT moments.
The last one is my Long Beach sticker, I can't forget my roots ... but I'll let you try to find that one. But this is how she sits in my garage.
